Use Darkole lawfully and responsibly.

1. The service

Darkole provides an interface for discovering public media pages, opening supported provider previews, linking to original sources and, where available, continuing to an independent third-party download service. Features may change, fail or be withdrawn without notice.

2. Third-party content and services

Darkole does not upload, host, store, publish or distribute the source videos displayed in results or previews. Media remains hosted and served by its respective platform or publisher. Supported previews use provider players, embed URLs or documented embed methods where available.

Search results are supplied through Google Programmable Search. Bing may supply autocomplete suggestions. Download actions currently lead to Cobalt. Darkole does not own, operate or control those services or the media platforms, and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, accuracy, policies or conduct.

Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies a source and does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement.

3. Your responsibilities

You may use Darkole only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• download, copy, share or reuse media unless you own it or have permission or another lawful basis;
• circumvent access controls, paywalls, digital rights management, age gates, geographic restrictions or technical protections;
• use Darkole to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights;
• submit malicious URLs, interfere with the service, automate abusive traffic, scrape excessively or attempt unauthorised access; or
• misrepresent Darkole as affiliated with a provider or use the service in a way that breaches applicable law or third-party terms.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether your intended download or use is lawful. The presence of a Preview or Download button is a technical capability, not permission or legal advice.

4. Download hand-off

Darkole does not provide, receive or store the downloaded media file. Selecting Download sends the source URL to Cobalt and opens that service. Your use of Cobalt is a separate relationship governed by Cobalt's terms and privacy information. Darkole cannot guarantee that Cobalt will work, remain available or produce a particular file.

5. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Darkole is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties or guarantees about availability, completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, results, previews, downloads or third-party services. Search results and suggestions may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Darkole and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from third-party content or services, your use or inability to use the service, or unauthorised downloading or reuse. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Copyright and removal

For removal of a source video, contact the platform that hosts it. Darkole cannot delete a YouTube, TikTok or other provider upload. For a Darkole-controlled page or link, follow the process on the Copyright and Removal page.

8. Suspension and changes

Access may be limited or blocked to protect the service, comply with law, respond to abuse or preserve provider access. These terms may be updated; continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their stated date.

9. General

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page.
